The DAAD offers a variety of scholarships to students of all stripes.
The Scholarship for International Developing Countries targets foreign students, early-stage researchers, and masters or doctoral students wishing to take courses at a German university. The scholarship is funded through Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

P.hD / RESEARCH FUNDING

  • Horizon 2020 – EU framework programme for Research & Innovation, 75 billion euros has been provided for funding (2014 – 2020)
  • ERC Grants – supports for excellence Scientists ; Starting grants for researchers between 2 and 7 years after P.hD, maximum funding of 2 million euros; Consolidator grants – for researchers between 7 and 12 years after P.hD, maximum funding 2.75 million euros ; Advanced grants -for researchers with over 10 years achievement, over 3.5million euros
